saya sangat bersyukur memiliki banyak (ga banyak juga sih) teman bernama Siti, enak manggilnya, “sitttiiiiiii, siiiiitttt, siiiitttt”, tanpa disalahin karena sarkas. 

Nah, dari kasus ini saya menarik suatu hikmah, maka sebaiknya namain anak tuh yang “shoutcut name”*-nya enak disebut (*ada satu suku kata dalam namanya yang enak disaut), semisal:

• Siti (cewe) | Siton (cowo). shoutcut: sit
• Fakira (cewe) | Fakri (cowo). shoutcut: fak
• Bintari Cynthia, dipanggilnya Bici (cewe) | Biciru (cowo). shoutcut: bic
• Carina Ukari, dipanggilnya Cukari (cewe) | Charles Djantjuk (cowo). shoutcut: jelas

mumpung pemerintah sedang linglung, bagaimana jika diterapkan sajah hukum agar nama-nama anak Indonesia harus memiliki shoutcut name yang enak disaut agar masyarakat dapat melampiaskan ion-ion negatif secara cuma-cuma. abis itu, biar ngetroll, terapin juga undang-undang tentang “larangan keras nyaut-nyaut bahasa sarkas di depan publik”, tentu dengan “sitfakbiccuk” sebagai kata-kata yang bakalan jadi selang bagi antek2 pemerintah buat nyeruput uang.

The official website for the live-action adaptation of Chūya Koyama’s Uchū Kyōdai (Space Brothers) manga began streaming a 33-second teaser trailer for the film on Wednesday. The film features the theme song “Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall” by the British rock band Coldplay. The film is scheduled to open in Japan on May 5, 2012. 

The story of the film follows two brothers, Mutta (Oguri) and Hibito (Okada), who made a vow as kids to travel to space. The younger brother Hibito did become an astronaut, but not Mutta. However, Mutta’s life changes one fateful day.

Koyama’s Uchū Kyōdai manga will also receive a television anime adaptation starting in April 2012.

DETACHMENT AND IMPERMANENCE 

I made this artwork for my art class last October. We were giving the assignment to work on anything we wanted to 7 hours total and when I asked my friend what he was thinking of doing he said he would sleep on it and tell me tomorrow. That gave me a perfect idea. I can LITERALLY sleep on it for 7 hours. So, I got this huge paper, filled it with charcoal, and slept on it naked for 7 hours. I did it mostly to detach myself from the comfort of always sleeping in a warm bed and feeling safe when there are some that don’t have this sort of protection from the elements even while they sleep. And also for the heck of doing it. I left my self defenseless to the elements of the night for an entire night…naked and cold on charcoal. The experience/process behind this piece is what I loved moved about it. As a hidden present, if you look closely, my body wasn’t imprinted so much on it as my skeleton was with the intention of reminding me of the impermanence of things. Of course, this isn’t a gloomy occasion that should remind one to be happy so that every moment is enjoyed before the end of our human life comes.
